Gloomy sunday to you all!
I've had a weekend of horror movies, clogged nose, and glue all on my fingers! (and paint, and texture paste, and ink......) Having to stay at home for some days has done my cold some good, but I get so restless.. and I get so inspired by the things i watch, like horror movies, zombies, gore and some American Horror Story to boot. And so this came to life (pun intended ;) )
Moahahahahahaha! *cue evil laugh*
I took the back-boards of some A5 notebooks and turned into this beauty!
The base is two plates glued together, and then painted with Texture Paste Black sand and black gesso (i smeared it out with an old creditcard).
Tombstones are ATC bases from Retro Art Cafe, treated with Texture Paste Black sand, and white sand. They have been misted and distressed with LSG's Freaky Frankenlime, Midnight Rendezvous raven, Rusted Lantern and Frolic in the forest. Distress: Shabby Shutters and Black Soot. Then I splettered the scene with Distress Ink Festive berries and Barn Door, to make blood.
I used texturepaste with Mowed Lawn and Iced Spruce to make the grass and branches/ vines. I also used it for making the maggoty/ wormlike creatures, mixed with Tea Dye, Antique Linen and Mustr\ard Seed. The pumpkins are mini dried pumpkins from Retro Art Cafe. I used the same mix as the worms to create some small "brains", i made them on some wet mist on a paper, to make them look more rotten and gore'like.
I added some hands, a skeleton, and some other charms to it, alongside some ivy leaves misted with Frolic in the Forest and Teeth Shattering Teal.
And then for my real kink!
It turns into a real scene of horror at night!
the lantern (from Holtz) can ofcourse be turned on! Which brings out this nice, gloomy atmosphere...
My background is a dp from Moxxie, "T'omb it may concern".
And ofcourse it also brings out the dead....
Haunted design house - Naughty Corner (i made a corner!)
Crafty Gals Corner - Movie Madness (Return of the Living Dead)
Clear it out - All goes with All goes (a very! old lantern, old charms, and old dp)
